Brittany Boolé has been teaching and choreographing for over fifteen years, and has won numerous awards for her work. Brittany's dedication to her students and the art of dance is apparent in her choreography and her passion for teaching. She is known for her originality in storytelling, visuals, and the production quality of all her routines. Her choreography was nominated as one of nine routines from across the country for Best in Musical Theatre for the 2017 Industry Dance Awards.
She was also nominated as one of six routines from across the country for Best in Musical Theatre for the 2016 Industry Dance Awards, and for Best in Open/Ballet/Acro for the 2014 Industry Dance Awards. She was also the founder and owner of Elevate Dance Academy in Portland, Oregon for the past 5 years.
Brittany has taught and choreographed for Elevate Dance Academy, West Coast School of the Arts, The Dance Place, Dance Unlimited Performing Arts Academy, Dance Dynamics, and San Juan Hills Dance Program to name a few. Additionally, Brittany ran the Saint Joseph High School Dance Program and coached their JV and Varsity Song Teams for four years. She also coached for Wilson High School's Pep Squad in Oregon.
Brittany is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA. She has danced competitively and professionally since the age of ten, dancing in many television shows such as Ellen, Deal or No Deal, Live with Regis and Kelly, Best Damn Sports Show, Oprah, Star Trek, Mad TV, and several commercials including Toys “R” Us, Red Lobster, Pepsi, Barbie, Nickelodeon, JCPenney, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Maxwell House Coffee, Amtrak and many more.
In her early 20s, Brittany danced in parades and special events at the Disneyland Resort and California Adventure in Anaheim, California. Brittany danced for the Los Angeles Lakers for two seasons as well. As a Laker Girl she had the opportunity to perform and participate in many incredible charitable events and appearances. Brittany was also a dancer for the arena football team, Los Angeles Avengers. Brittany was selected to represent all of the dancers during the All Star Arena Football Game in New Orleans. Additionally, she had the privilege of judging and choreographing for the 2016 Charger Girls.
After her time with the Lakers, Brittany traveled the world dancing for Holland America Cruise Lines. She spent nearly two years on the sea as the ship's Dance Captain. Her voyages were aboard the Oosterdam and Prinsendam, both luxury cruise liners. She also had the privilege of being selected as a sketch group dancer for Stiletto Entertainment, for the new Zuiderdam shows. Later, she moved to Japan where she had the opportunity to dance and perform as a face character at Tokyo Disneyland Resort and Tokyo Disney Sea.
Brittany is known for inspiring and encouraging young dancers to push themselves to take their dancing to the next level. With passion, work ethic, and dedication, she truly believes that anything is achievable, and loves giving dancers the tools needed to reach their goals. She is so excited to be back in San Diego, and can't wait to get to work!
